Where can I sign up to a UK boarding school?
I live in Canada , more precisely Quebec ( french province) My english is more than above average here and i and interested in going to a new school . I'm in secondary 4 and would like to know how the school system works there ( which grade would I be in)

i dont have a clue how the canadian year/grades work but ill start from the beginning; 10 years old means your in year 7, 11 years old means your in year 8 etc etc. To sign up for an english bording school i would recommend going to speak to the british embasy they'll point you in the right direction :) or if u can get the numbers get on the phone to a council :)

How different is college compared to high school in the UK
How different is college compared to high school in the UK...?
If i hate school now will i find college just as hard? I want to do my A-levels at college but i'm wondering if i will find it the same as school or if it's a lot different? What about doing A-levels in a 6th form at school? Thanks in advance! :-) xx

Can anyone tell me of a Good Traditional Ninjutsu/Taijutsu school in the UK?
Can anyone tell me of a Traditional Ninjutsu/Taijutsu school which is located in the UK. I live in the Bedfordshire area so if anyone has any details could they please reply to this aswell as if that Dojo has a website include it in the reply. Thanks for your help as i have been looking for a Ninjutsu school for ages so if anyone can help it would be very welcome.

Traditional? None. Tradition implies starting from a very young age in balance, leaping, and gymnastics training, as well as basic hand-to-hand skills. Consumption of poisons and acids early on. Self-mutilation as a memory technique. Very brutal stuff. When I went to secondary school in the UK, they invited the Gideons to hand out bibles
When I went to secondary school in the UK, they invited the Gideons to hand out bibles?
Now they excused the light brown children, and just forced the pink and dark brown ones to listen and take bibles. Who can I sue for this outrage? The headmaster, the school, the LEA or all 3?

i remeber that my school was a little rough and they had to walk out past some kids burning bibles. I remember keeping mine safe just in case god was real. thhan i spilt orange juice on it accidently. He didnt seem bothered. I dont think the giddeon lot go to schools anymore. perhaps you are right and they do. you wont win anything by suing them you arnt damaged by it.

Oh come on! I was there for that too, and I doubt very much that they are mind readers and assume people of a certain color are of a certain faith.

Why sue? Will that get you anywhere? This world is full of heretics and hypocrites. Rather turn your back on wickedness and become truly born again, then do Gods righteous work until Jesus comes to take you home. John 3:3-5 means, "If someone wants to be born again, they should be born of water and the Spirit. Here water means the baptism of Jesus, which does away with all the sins of the world once and for all. The Spirit means that Jesus who received baptism from John the Baptist is God Himself.รข€�

All of them probably. Religion in UK schools is a tricky point. I didn't appreciate being forced to pray etc without having what I was doing explained to me. Once I'd worked out what I was doing, I was pretty annoyed that they'd forced me to do it. And if they excused kids on the grounds of skin colour, I should imagine some of those other 'pink and dark brown' children have greater reasons to sue than you.

Possibly the school, the Gideons sound fierce in the UK. They had a table an have out bible and tea at my school. They where quite kind and never flagged people down which i have seen them do before and find quite rude.
