I really qant to study in an IB school in uk but
I really qant to study in an IB school in uk but?
But my parents finds the fees real expensive specially cuz of the school offers IB Diploma + boarding fee, so how do u think i can prove to my parents that it is a good opportunity for me ( other than getting high grades) or how can i convince my parents??

Try to explain to your parents all the advantages that being in IB will give you. Fist of all universities love ib students and this includes top one such as oxford and Cambridge, being in IB will not only increase the chances of you being accepted in college but many courses will be taken away from you especially in your first year. The IB is a very challenging program and is more difficult than A-levels and this gives you many advantages later. It helps you develop many important skills such as time management and critical thinking and will make your academic life much easier later on. Also, some universities offer scholarships for IB students!! check the list: http://www.ibo.org/diploma/recognition/scholarships/ This might help you convince your parents if they see that the IB might actually help save money later in uni Since your parents might truly not be able to afford this school though, you could perhaps try to find another school which offers the IB and is more affordable (probably not a boarding school :)) Anyway Good Luck and just try to do your best in whatever direction you end up taking.

Texting someone who went to school in UK but still has a US mobile number.
Texting someone who went to school in UK but still has a US mobile number.?
I want to know if there will be charges if I text someone that has a US mobile phone number but is residing in the UK temporarily. They have an unlimited international plan and I have simply an unlimited texting plan with at&t. I figure since it's not an international number, I might not get charged for texting her, but its sketchy because technically she's going to be IN London. Thanks, Troy

Nope. No Charges. You're Textin A "US" Number, Not A London Number.

It won't cost you, because what counts on your end is where the number is from, not where the phone happens to be at the time.
