I don't know, but being as they are scared to death of guns, I would imagine the same goes for a knife...especially in school.

No it's not legal, you can't carry any weapons on to school property and if the police do stop you it's deemed an offensive weapon. If you report it the pupil has a good chance of permanent exclusion.

Check your school handbook / regulations. Chances are, schools will vary slightly from each other. In the USA, we have some very loose schools, and some with metal detectors. So, it depends.
