What should I expect from work experience at a primary school

What should I expect from work experience at a primary school?
I'm in year 10, and I want to be a primary school teacher. I know I'm not likely to be teaching or anything at work experience, but what sort of thing will I be doing? I used to go to the primary school, but everything has changed now. I have an interview, what will they ask me? Also, for anyone who has already done this, what are the advantages and disadvantages of work experience at a primary school? UK answers only please. (: Also, how can I impress the staff to get a good report at the end?

Hiya, I did work experience last year in a primary school, what I did was listen to the children read, help put up posters in the classroom and when the kids were set work to do I went around and helped them out. In your interview, they'll just ask general things like why do you want to go here for work ex, what are your plans for the future, what are you expectations ect. Finally, advantages: the kids are really friendly and kind, i felt really happy while I was there - always smiling. Disadvantages: I felt so tired at the end of the day! because your putting your heart and soul in to the kids i felt drained loool! I enjoyed it lots and its confirmed for me what I want to do, i hope it goes well for you. :)
