I very much doubt that they will shut the schools its the government making mountains out of mole hills as usually. It will just prolong the swine flu in the UK.

I dunno..but i really hope so! We are on our summer holidays at the moment so they might have got the vacination before we go back in September ..but there is a good posibility that it may be shut for a while..but i personally hope it isn't becuase i start my Gcse's and that would just bugger the whole thing up.

well they might! I live in the U.S, NY to be exact. and schools all around my school shut down. My school should have shut down, but it was to close to summer break. Are u guys still going to school, or are you on break! If your on break they might just extend the break.

lucky enough it's the summer hol's! I reckon the government should take all the action necessary to combat this. I find it awfully sad that innocent people who were healthy one day are dying the next:(

no because 1 or 2 outbreaks of swine flu is not a problem especially if they are adults they will close school however if a child has actually been in the school with a positive case of swine flu.

i dont think they will shut the schools no.. i dissagree with that but there aint a lot we can do about it.. if they did shut the schools there would be a lot less cases especially as they are sayin alot of the cases are in th younger aged kids!!! if my sons school has a case of swine flu i wont be sending him in as i want to stay clear of it if possible untill the vaccination comes out for it..

Not all schools will be shut down. If the spread of swine flu has already taken place in a school there is no benefit in shutting down the school. Hope I helped :)
